EB to have Little League signups
The East Brewton Little League will hold signups for T-ball, Little League, and girls softball Thursday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 20.
The signups will take place on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at East Brewton City Hall. Player’s ages 5-12 are available to signup and you must be 5 before May 1st and cannot turn 13 before May 1. You will need to bring a copy of a birth certificate if first time playing and need uniform sizes. A $25 fee for the first child will be charged and $20 for a second child and $15 for each additional child. A $5 late fee will be charged if registered after Saturday.
All interested coaches must be signed up by Saturday, Feb. 20. An organizational meeting for parents and interested coaches will be held Sunday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at City Hall. Brewton LL to have  signups
The Brewton Little League Board is announcing signups for the 2010 baseball season.
All baseball players must turn 9-years-old by April 30 to be eligible to play in the 9-10 year-old league, while all players must turn 12 by April 30 to play in the 11-12 league.  Signups will be Monday (February 15), Tuesday (16th) and Thursday (18th) from 5:30-7 p.m. at the T.R. Miller Fieldhouse with a $10 registration fee and birth certificate due at that time. Players will also be charged for pants; youth size pants are $17.50 and adult sizes are $20. Evaluations for both age groups will be Saturday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m., with Opening Day scheduled for Saturday, March 27.
