DEVELOPING STORY: TRM graduate shot to death in Florida

A Brewton man was killed early Saturday morning after an altercation at a party near Jay, Fla., according to reports.
Gus Benjamin, 18, a Brewton resident and 2009 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, was shot as the vehicle in which he was riding fled the scene of a party at the home of suspect Robert Franklin Lloyd, authorities in Santa Rosa County said. A fight had broken out at the home when a group including Benjamin arrived at the house, according to reports.
Lloyd, 21, of Jay, was charged with one open count of murder and three counts of attempted murder. Benjamin was in a car with three other people.
