TRM Lady Tiger tennis wins again

The T.R. Miller girls tennis team improved to 4-0 while the boys tennis team fell to 2-2 at Andalusia Thursday.
The Lady Tigers defeated Andalusia 6-3 while the boys lost 5-4.
In the No. 1 singles girls match, Andrea Alvarado lost 8-0 and was followed by Jamie Li in the No. 2 slot who won 8-4.
Mallory Mullis won her No. 3 match with an 8-4 win and was followed by Catherine Reeves in the No. 4 singles with an 8-7 win.
Laferria Hetherington won in the No. 5 slot 8-4 and No. 6 Elizabeth Nelson won 8-1 to out the Lady Tigers on top 10-2.
In doubles, Li and Hetherington won in the No. 1 spot 8-4 before DeAundrea Hetherington and Laura Burkett lost 8-6 in the No. 2 spot.
Whitney Nicholson and Sara Williamson lost 8-2 in the No. 3 spot, but the Lady Tigers hung on to take 13 points to the Lady Bulldogs eight and get the 6-3 win.
Boys:
Nick Dorso won the No. 1 singles match 8-3, and Nick Moore won 8-6 in the No. 2 slot.
Taylor Terry lost 2-8 in the third slot and Brandon Nelson lost 0-8 in the No. 4 match.
Rigby lost 0-8 win in the No. 5 match and Michael Kast won 8-7 in the sixth slot as the match was tied 6-6 after singles.
In doubles, the Tigers lost 3-6 to fall in the match 9-12 in points and lose 5-4 overall.
Dorso and Moore took the No. 1 singles 8-3 before Nelson and Terry lost 3-8 in the No. 2 spot.
Kast and Justin Stringer lost in the No. 3 spot 1-8.
The Tigers will play Milton Monday at Milton at 3:30 p.m. and will take on W.S. Neal in East Brewton Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
The match against between T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal will be the Eagles first match of the season as their opener was rained out Tuesday.
