DEVELOPING: Bank robbery suspects identified

The man and woman in custody who are suspected in a string of bank robberies, including one Wednesday in East Brewton, have been identified as Jerry Hover Tinsley and Rhianna Marie Jones, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department.
Police reports state the Okaloosa County fugitive warrants unit was assisting the FBI in the case and had located the suspects at a Motel 6 in Destin, Fla. At about 11:15 Thursday night, officers saw Tinsley and Jones leave the motel parking lot in a gold Chevrolet Impala, and officers attempted to try to stop them in the parking lot. The suspects fled, and a chase ensued at speeds of over 80 miles per hour.
The pair stopped the car and fled; Tinsley was apprehended in a sand lot and Jones was arrested shortly thereafter in the woods, reports state.
Neither suspect has been charged in the bank robberies.
Tinsley, 30, was charged with felony eluding police, resisting an officer and possession of a controlled substance.
Jones, 30, was charged with resisting an officer.
