East Brewton police officers are continuing an investigation into a burglary Tuesday night at Fred’s.
Police Chief Kenny Brazile said employees at the Fred’s pharmacy in East Brewton discovered medications had been taken when they reported for work Wednesday morning.
Brazile said the burglar or burglars gained entrance to the store and made their way into the pharmacy during the night. Officials did not disclose the amounts and types of medication taken from the pharmacy. “We are following some leads in this case and the investigation is continuing,” he said. “We will continue to work the case until the crime is solved.”
