Lady Eagles get 10-run win and end streak

After seeing their losing streak grow to 10 games earlier in the win, the Lady Eagles of W.S. Neal ended their losing streak with a home game win against Monroe County by a score of 14-4.
With the win, the Lady Eagles improved to 4-10 this season.
W.S. Neal, despite having only two hits in the win, scored eight runs in the second inning, five in the third, and one in the fifth inning while all of Monroe County’s runs came in the fourth inning.
Lauren Boatwright was 1-for-3 with one RBI and Britta Wood was 1-for-1 for the Lady Eagles only two hits in the game. Haley Lum and Kaitlin Hadaway had RBIs in the win.
W.S. Neal had 12 walks and was hit by pitch five times in the win.
Hadaway earned the win on the mound for W.S. Neal as she went five innings and allowed four runs on three hits, walked one, hit one, and struck out one.

W.S. Neal’s Lady Eagle softball saw their losing streak grow to 10 games Tuesday as they lost an area game at Jackson 14-0.
The loss for the Lady Eagles made their record 3-10 and 0-3 in area play.
Kaitlin Hadaway gave up three hits and walked four as she took the loss on the mound for the Lady Eagles.  
Hadaway also had the only hit of the day for the Lady Eagles at the plate.
