T.R. Miller’s tennis teams lost an area tennis match to Bayside Academy Friday in Point Clear.
The boys team lost 8-1 to drop their record to 4-4-1 while the Lady Tigers of Brewton suffered their first loss 7-2 to fall to 8-1 this season.
Boys:
No. 1 – Nick Dorso lost 10-1
No. 2 – Nick Moore lost 10-1
No. 3 – Bryce Wilcox lost 10-6
No. 4 – Taylor Terry won 10-6
No. 5 – Brandon Nelson lost 10-8
No. 6 – Allen Rigby lost 10-6
Doubles:
No. 1 – Dorso/Moore lost 10-5
No.  2 – Terry/Wilcox lost 10-6
No.  3 – Michael Kast/ Patrick Weaver lost 10-5
Girls:
No. 1 – Jamie Li lost 10-0
No. 2 – Andrea Alvarado lost 10-0
No. 3 – Mallory Mullis won 10-8
No. 4 – Laferria Hetherington won 10-6
No. 5—Elizabeth Nelson lost 10-8
No. 6—Deaundrea Hetherington lost 10-6
Doubles:
No. 1 – Li/ L. Hetherington lost 10-4
No. 2 – Mullis/Nelson lost 11-9
No. 3—Williamson/Burkett lost 10-6
The Tiger tennis team improved their record with wins over W.S. Neal Monday at home.
T.R. Miller’s girls won 8-0 over W.S. Neal by sweeping all matches and the boys won 9-0 by sweeping all matches.
The win for the Tigers improved the girls to 9-1 overall and the boys to 5-4-1 overall. W.S. Neal fell to 0-4 in girls and 1-3 in boys.
