Mr. Bobby Lee Dixon, 81, died Friday, April 2, 2010 in Canoe. He was a native of Bluejacket, Okla., and a resident of Canoe for the past 43 years. He was a longtime member of the American Legion and VFW and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Dixon of Canoe; two sons, Roger and Susan Jansen of Robinsonville, and David H. (Mary) Dixon of Brewton; a daughter, Melissa Murph and Eddy Crabtree of Bay Minette; five grandchildren, Ashley Keough of Orange Beach, Windy Madden of Homewood, Keela McNeal of Brewton, Josef Murph of Loxley and Joshua Murph of Bay Minette; and two grandchildren, Gabe Madden and Timothy Madden.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 5, at 11 a.m. at the Canoe Methodist Cemetery with Elder Glenn Wardrop officiating and Petty Funeral Home directing.
