Mr. Malcolm Miller, 75, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at his residence on Alco Drive after a brief illness. He was a native of Carolina and a long time resident of Brewton. He was a retired truck driver with Dixie Gravel and attended the East Brewton Church of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 52 of Montgomery.
He is survived by three sons, Charles Wayne (Bianca) Miller of Houston, Texas, James Dale Miller of Baytown, Texas, and Anthony Jason (Jennifer) Miller of Alexander City; a daughter, Andrea (Brian) Chavers of Brewton; a brother, Charles Miller of Rose Hill; four sisters, Willie Mae Gay of Tampa, Fla., Alice Ramer of Eustic, Fla., Bertha Martin of Andalusia and Foye Jean Henserling of Deltona, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Steve Smith, Jay C. Miller, Lane Chavers, Malcolm Miller, Collin Miller, Carmeron Miller and Caitlyn Chavers; three great-grandchildren, Brett, Cody and Matthew; and a special friend, Pearl N. Alford of Brewton.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at the East Brewton Church of God with the Rev. James Sturdivant officiating. Graveside services will be private at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
