Agnes Bivian McClendon Murdock
Mrs. Agnes Bivian McClendon Murdock, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at a local nursing facility after a brief illness. She was a native of Paulding County, Ga., and a long time resident of East Brewton. She was retired as a seamstress from Judy Bond after 21 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Murdock and son-in-law, C.L. Hardin.
She is survived by a son, Douglas (Bobbie) Murdock of Dallas, Ga.; a daughter, Elaine Hardin of East Brewton; eight grandchildren, Oliver Pugh Jr., Olivia “Susie” Faddis, “William” Cary Pugh, David Hardin, Becky Coe, Douglas Murdock II, Rhea Murdock and Jenna Gardner; and one great-grandchild, Karlie Murdock.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 8, from 2 until time of funeral at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dykes officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
