Gladys Nelda Blair Wilson

Mrs. Gladys Nelda Blair Wilson, 75, of Ridge Road, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Alabama and a long-time resident of Escambia County. She was a retired school bus driver with the Escambia County School District and was a graduate of W.S. Neal High School. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bruner Wilson.
She is survived by two sons, James Michael Wilson of Houma, La., and George Mitchell (Deana) Wilson of Brewton; a daughter, Lisa (Larry) Tindell of Brewton; a brother, Earnest “Buddy” Blair of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Lee Ellington of Pace, Fla., and Frances King of Cantonment, Fla.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until service time at Craver’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bob Eisenburg officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Road Baptist Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
