Mr. Michael “Mike” David Baggett, 55, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 in a Pensacola, Fla. medical facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Ft. Campbell, Ken., and a long time resident of Brewton before moving to Milton. He was of the Protestant faith, a U.S. Army veteran and a sheet rock finisher in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Baggett Milstead.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma Baggett of Milton; three sons, Michael David Baggett Jr. of Kingsport, Tenn., Christopher Baggett of Brewton, and Cole David Baggett of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Wendy Michelle Johnson of Hopkinsville, Ken. and Heather Elena Baggett of Tennessee; a brother, Nathan Craig Baggett of Castleberry and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, with memorial services at 2 p.m. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
