Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hallmark Johnson, 93, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. She was a former resident of Brewton and had resided in Monroeville for the past five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Travis Johnson; a daughter, Martha Gail Burgess and sons-in-law, Ray Burgess and Phillip Hudson.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth Morgan of Gadsden, a daughter, Patsy Hudson of Monroeville; sons, Jim (Etta) Johnson of Cornelia, Ga., Russell (Margaret) Johnson of Birmingham; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Eastwood Baptist Church in Monroeville with visitation at 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. The grandsons will act as pallbearers. Burial will be held at Green Acres Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
