Luvenia Josephine Wilson Jernigan

Mrs. Luvenia Josephine Wilson Jernigan, 90 of Brewton, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at

her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the box factory at T.R. Miller Mill Company.

She is survived by a son, Donald (Judy) Jernigan of Brewton; a duaghter, Janice (Buddy) McGhee of Brewton; five grandchildren, Andrea, Robby, Clay, Elisha and Val; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Wes, Baleigh, Annaleigh, Taylor, Brittney and Alexus; three step-grandchildren, Jeremy, Jonathan and Janice; a step-great-grandchild, Griffon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mason Jernigan, and a daughter-in-law, Faye Jernigan.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Darby and the Rev. Kenneth Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Brewton.
