Robert Gregory Joyner

Mr. Robert Gregory “Greg” Joyner, 44, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and long-time resident of Escambia County, and a sales clerk at Davis Supply Company. He was a 1984 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and a faithful member of East Brewton Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Donna Lynn Riley Joyner of East Brewton; two daughters, Madison LeAnna Joyner and Emma Ryleigh Joyner, both of East Brewton; his mother and father, Howard and June Joyner of East Brewton; a brother, Jeff (Misty) Joyner of East Brewton; a sister, Sheila (Jay) Bondurant of Brewton; his father and mother-in-law, Rusty and Brenda Wilson of Castleberry; sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and Terry Conway of Evergreen; a brother and sister-in-law, Jarrod and Ashley Wilson of Sevierville, Tenn.; three nephews, Tyler, Jacob and Jackson; six nieces, Paige, Jailyn, Summer, Alex, Chloe and Maggie Grace; special friends, Tommy and Pam Thompson and Edwin Graves, all of Brewton; and a host of other friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James A. Sturdivant officiating. Burial followed at Weaver’s Cemetery on Appleton Road with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
