Mr. William Edward Willett Jr., 82, of Century, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Willet was a native of Century, Fla., and a lifetime resident, where he was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served four years and a graduate of Huntingdon College in Mongtomery with an associate’s degree in accounting. During his working years, he worked for International Paper Co. in the accounting department.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise W. Black and Loreen W. Swick.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne W. Richey of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Robin W. and son-in-law Ray C. Helms Jr. of Milton, Fla.; two sisters, Carolyn W. Councell of Milton, and Helen W. Bowman of Century; four grandchildren, Charles Tyler Richey, Hunter Ray Willett (Kristi) Helms, Travis Lee Helms and Ray Clifford Helms III; and a great-grandchild, Haedyn Fisher Willett Helms.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert Barrow and Gene Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, Oct. 28, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel.
