Mr. David Harlan Fuqua, 62, of Yellow Creek Road (Bethel Community) passed away Tuesday Nov. 2, 2010, after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church, a 1966 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, a 1970 graduate of Auburn University, a member of Auburn Alumni. He was a retired Soil Conservationist from the U.S. Government.

He is survived by a brother, Danny (Gloria) Fuqua of Brewton;

a nephew, Dennis (Leah) Fuqua of Brewton; and a great niece, Emma Grace Fuqua; and several other special relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 5, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the Bethel Mennonite Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. John Kemp officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
