Easter Iona Palmer Fuqua

Mrs. Easter Iona Palmer Fuqua, 93, of East Brewton, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Falco, and a long time resident of East Brewton. She was an active member of the East Brewton Assembly of God Church for 65 years, and was a retired seamstress from Judy Bond.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine (Charles) Bailey of Pace, Fla., and Gloria Faye (Shelvie) Holley of Jay, Fla.; a brother, Leroy Palmer of East Brewton; five grandchildren, Craig (Marcia) Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Carla (Eddie) Bohlman, Shelly Hamilton, Tami (Lenton) Knowles; eight great-grandchildren, Chad Bailey, Chase Bailey, Chris Hamilton, Alek Bohlman, Nicole Hamilton, Courtney Bohlman, Adley Knowles and Caden Bailey; and one great-great-grandchild, Dalton Hamilton.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the East Brewton Assembly of God Church in East Brewton.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at the East Brewton Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jeff Scurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Bradley Assembly of God Church Cemetery in the Bradley community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
