Joe Leavon Daw

Mr. Joe Leavon Daw, 70, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and long time resident of Alabama, a farmer, and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Leavon Daw of Brewton; five daughters, Jolene (Brett) Adkisson, Joelynn Daw, and Bobbie (Travis) Bartlett, all of Brewton, B.J. (Gary) Maher of Century, Fla. and Amanda McWilliams of Pensacola, Fla.; three Brothers, George (Martha) Mitchell and Gene (Nikki) Mitchell of Brewton and Charles Mitchell of Pell City; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Daw; his mother, Vellar Mae Wise; his step-father, Clifton “Junior” Wise and a son, Joseph Daw.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral home with the Rev. Steve Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery.

Pallbearers: will be Paul Daw, Jackson Rabon, Christopher Crutchfield, Kevin Maher, Eddie Addison, and T.J. Bartlett.
