Miss Mattie L. Farrish, 75, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010. She was a native of Conecuh County and resident of Brewton. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Farrish; five brothers, Sterling Watkins, Marvin Watkins, Charlie Farrish, Willie Sam Farrish and J.C. Farrish; five sisters, Annie Ruth Monroe, Louise Daniels, Rosie L. Reynolds, Ida Mae Chambers and Annie Bell Farrish.
She is survived by a sister, Pearlie Ruffin of Brewton; two brothers, John Lee Farrish and Herman Farrish, both of Brewton; a brother-in-law, Elbert Chambers of Brewton; a friend, Rosetta Joseph; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel with Brother Don Cox officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
