Mrs. Eva Mae Evans Etheridge, 89, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, in the Dothan hospital.

Mrs. Etheridge was born in Damascus and had been a resident of Grand Ridge, Fla., for the past 22 years, coming from Tuscaloosa. She worked as an accounting clerk at Southern States for a number of years. Mrs. Etheridge was a member of Sneads Assembly of God.

She is survived by one son, Horace Etheridge of Milton, Fla.; three daughters, Betty E. Ham of Grand Ridge, Fla., Marilyn Webster of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Susan Garris of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Margie Calloway of Castleberry, and special nephew, Curtis Calloway of Castleberry; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy White and Mr. Jimmy Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
