Mrs. Margie Etheridge Calloway, 99, of Castleberry, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness.

Mrs. Calloway was a native of Belleville and had lived most of her life in Castleberry. She was a retired Lunchroom Worker with the Conecuh County School System and was a member of Castleberry Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Calloway.

Survivors include four sons, Charles (Nettie) Calloway of DeRidder, La.; Curtis Calloway of Castleberry; Wayne (Lucille) Calloway of Monroeville; Paul (Angela)Calloway of Castleberry and Omaha, Neb.; one daughter, Mary Bethune of Castleberry; 11 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home Inc.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Bob Godbee and the Rev. Andy Peevy officaiting. Interment will follow in Holland Cemetery in Castleberry with Craver’s Funeral Home Inc. of Brewton directing.

Pallbearers will be Marty Calloway, Barry Calloway, Larry Bethune, Rusty Bethune, Mark Calloway, Gregory Greenwald.
