Mrs. Barbara Van Hoosen McClean, 69, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at an Austin, Texas, medical center. She was a native of Flomaton, and had spent the past 20 years living in Texas. She had worked as a store manager and she was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Eugene and Annie Mae Brewton Van Hoosen and her husband, Wayne McClean.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Dunn Jr. of Mobile; a daughter, Monya Hope Berry of Houston, Texas; a brother, James Van Hoosen of Mobile, a nephew; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, at 1 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile with Father Christopher Viscard officiating and Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
