Mr. Cecil Stanley Howington, 61, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospice facility after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was of the Baptist Faith, a U.S. Army veteran having served
in Vietnam, and was retired from the oil field. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Sallie Howington, and three brothers, Bruce Howington, Charles Howington and Raymond Howington.
He is survived by his wife, Jeri Howington of Brewton; two daughters, Mickie (Mark) McGowin and Samantha Howington, both of Brewton; a brother, Jimmy Howington of D’Lo, Miss.; two sisters, Helen English of Pace, Fla. and Cathy Green of Flomaton; three grandchildren, Dixie Harman, Elijah Harman, and Daisy Cole
Funeral services will be held Tuesday,  March 29,  at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric
Johnson and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Springs Cemetery near Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
