Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Dean Bolton, 88, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at her residence in Evergreen. She was co-owner of Bolton Oil Company and a professional secretary. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Evergreen, The Nellie Newton-King Circle and the Magnolia Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Bolton and a granddaughter, Cyndi Barlow.

She is survived by a son, John (Pat) Bolton of Evergreen; her daughters, Sherry (Rickey) Salter of Evergreen, and Gaynor Bolton of Pace, Fla.; sisters, Annie Ruth Baggett of Evergreen, Mary Ruth Ingram of Decatur and Frances Sankey of Montgomery; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, from 12 until 2 p.m. at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Cope Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Cope Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First United Methodist Church of Evergreen.
