Mr. Malcolm Joseph Cooper, 65, of Indian Lane, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and attended East Brewton Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris House and Alma Martin; and three brothers, Earl Cooper, Howard Cooper and David Cooper.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Faye Carnley Cooper of Brewton; his son, Tony (Michelle) Cooper of Spanish Fort; three daughters, Sharmon Cooper (Joey) O’Bannon, and Amanda Cooper (Jesse) Lee, both of Brewton, and Amy Cooper (Jeremy) Gruber of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three brothers, Dewey (Lois) Cooper, Douglas (Carolyn) Cooper and Pete Cooper, all of Brewton; six grandchildren, Gracie O’Bannon, Joseph O’Bannon, Ross Cooper, Linc Cooper, Addy Lee and Amelia Lee; a sister-in-law, Emily Cooper of Brewton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are were held Monday June 27, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother James Meadows officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Cemetery in Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
