Mr. Hal Dwight Beckham Sr., 85, died at his residence on Saturday, July 9, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife Sara Frances Beckham; his brothers, Hoyt Beckham and Lex Beckham.
He is survived by his three sons: Hal Dwight (Ronda) Beckham, Jr. of Alexander City, Donnie Beckham of Brewton and Ronnie Beckham of Montgomery; his brother, Huey (Sara) Beckham of Auburn; five grandchildren, Leslie Beckham and Brian (Stephanie) Beckham, both of Atlanta, Ga., Tammy (Ronny) Sharpe of Ocean Springs, Miss., Trevor Youngblood of Oakdale, La., and Ryan (Kaci) Miller of Notasulga; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as “The Sisters”.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Alabama Funeral Homes in Dadeville, with the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow in Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens with Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers of Dadeville, directing.
