Brewton

Mrs. Patsy Burnham Owens, 66, of Appleton Road, died Friday, July 1, 2011 in a local hospital after a extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was a member of Pilgrims Chapel Church and retired from the business office at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Dudley Owens of Brewton; a sister, Judy (Harry) Dixon of Brewton; two cousins, Doris Woods and Debbie (Mike) Roberson, both of Brewton; and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred White and the Rev. Buddy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
