Mrs. Frances Louise Graham Scott, 76, of East Brewton, died Monday, July 18, 2011, in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Georgia, former resident of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and a long time resident of East Brewton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Goodway, and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny V. Scott of East Brewton; a son, Steven (Shelly) Scott of Brewton; a daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Knowles of Goodway; an adopted daughter, Mary (Carl) Dunn of Crestview, Fla.; four grandchildren, Katie Cheatham, Scott Knowles, Lee Knowles and Johnny Edward Scott; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Knowles and Makayla Cheatham; and three step grandchildren, Dustin Mallet, Aaron Mallet and Michael Mallet.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Knowles officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Road Baptist Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
