Mr. Jesse Fletcher Scott, 73, of Church Street died Sunday, July 17, 2011 in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and long time resident of Escambia County. He was a member of East Brewton Community of Christ Church and retired from T.R. Miller Mill Company with 40 years of service.
He is survived by a special companion, Aries Adkins of Brewton; three brothers, Corbert M. Scott Jr. of Warren, Ohio, Jimmy Scott of Picayune, Miss., and Donald Scott of Brewton; and a sister, Ida Rose Wattingney of Monroe, La.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 18, from 7:30 until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Wayne Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
