Mr. Perry Ray Baker, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his Brewton residence. He was a native and long-time resident of West Palm Beach, Fla, and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 2002. He was a 1973 graduate of Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach. He worked as a cabinet maker and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James Raymond Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Suzanne Baker of Damascus; his mother, Mrs. Ada E. Baker of Damascus; one son, Daniel Ray Baker of Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.; one daughter, Krista (Travis) Armstrong of Babbie; one Brother, James G. Baker of West Palm Beach; one sister, Penny Miles of Damascus; and nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home, Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 from 10 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. from the chapel with the Rev. Doug Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in Damascus Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
