Mrs. Helen A. Yaedon, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. She was a native of Beaubord City, N.C. and had been a resident of Buchanan, since 2005, coming from New Orleans, La. She was a member of the Savanah, Tenn., chapter #371 of the Order of Eastern Star and the Lioness Club in Marrero, La. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Otis Yeadon Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Otis (Sharon) Yeadon Jr. of Ocala, Fla. and Robert Edward Yeadon of New Orleans; two daughters, Linda Gros and Brenda Barnett, both of Paris, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Thomas Spry, Michael Spry, Steven Spry, Donnie Barnett, Jason Yeadon, Janet Yeadon, Lisa Rice, and Yvette Yeadon; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will held Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Headley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
