Mr. Lloyd Wilson Lindsey Sr., 98, of Freeport, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Creekside Village Healthcare in Clute, Texas. He was a native of Brewton and a former resident of Galveston and DeQueen Ark., before moving to Freeport in 2001. He was a carpenter and was in he pest control business. He was a Master Mason since 1944.
He is survived by his children, Evelyn ( Jim) Grevelle of Brenham, Texas, Dale (Ann) Lindsey of Freeport, and Lloyd (Kathy) Lindsey, Jr. of Santa Fe, Texas; six grandchildren, Kelli Lowery, Christianne Lowery, Kim Wood, Alan Lindsey, Stacy Rummage and Brittany Lindsey; six great-grandchildren, Dustin Lowery, Dillon Wood, Kendall Gall, Joseph Nathan and Andrew Lindsey; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton, with the Rev. Dustin Stockstill officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
