Mr. Willie H. Coleman Marshall, 74, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 after an extended illness. He was a native of Brewton and a member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated at Booker T. Washington School and worked as a barber for several years, Hainje’s Furniture in Brewton and at a concrete corporation in Pace, Fla. His last job was with Bayou Transportation in Pensacola, Fla.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta Marshall of Pensacola; his children, Bonnie Reed and Tammie Bell, both of Brewton, Connie Reed, Sophia (Clyde) Jones, Leanne Reed and Contrece Reed, all of Houston, Texas, Tommy Reed, Timmy (Mellisa) Reed and Willie (Crystal) Reed, all of Huntsville; a stepson-Brian Montgomery of Pensacola; sisters, Lillie Graham and Carla Redfern, both of Brewton, and Mary Coleman of New York; a devoted friend, Henry McGee of Milton, Fla.; 31 grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at Christ Kingdom Ministry Center with Apostle Herman Bradley officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley Fluker Funeral Home directing.
