Joey Dewayne Kelley, 50, died Oct. 11, 2011. He was a native of Brewton and later moved to Atmore.

He owned several business including the Strand Theater, Joey’s Furniture, Kelley’s Ambulance Service, Whistle Stop Grill, Advance Printing Company, a construction business and other ventures.

He was preceded in death b his father, Albert Sylvester Kelley; his mother, Mary Aline Johnson; and a brother, Tom Johnson.

He is survived by three sons, Chad Wayne (Evelyn) Kelley of Winchester, Calif., Christopher Adam Kelley of Atmore, Austin Suede Dakota “Cody” Mooney f Pensacola, Fla.; three daughters, Jennifer Necole Daw, Chasity Kelley (David) Daniel, and Tiffany Denise Davis, all of Atmore; four grandchildren, Damon, Beau, Crimson and Aidan; his fiancé, Robin Cofield; one sister, Francis Hildreth of Andalusia; three brothers, Ed Gibson and Carl Kelley, both of Andalusia and Albert Kelley of Atmore.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Strand Theatre on South Main Street in Atmore. The family requests that donations be made to a memorial fund in honor of Joey Kelley at United Bank in lieu of flowers.
