Sheila DeCambra and Jesse Wheelis, both of Tallahassee, Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Wheelis, to Weston Garrett, son of Sue and Thomas Garrett of Brewton.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Hilda Wheelis of Pensacola, Fla., the late Bennie Wheelis, and the late Milton and Francis Kelley. She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee and is attending University of West Florida in Pensacola. She is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, UWF Math Club and band. She is presently employed at Pace Library in Pensacola.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Kilby and Esteen Garrett, the late Durl Thompson and Lucille Nelson of Pensacola. He is a graduate of W.S. Neal High School  and attended Troy University. He was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, NHS, FFA and Troy Computer Science Club. He is currently employed at G&E Machine Works.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Brewton.
