Mrs, Lillian K. Sanford, 95, died Nov. 5, 2011, at a local nursing facility. She was a native of Georgiana and a long time resident of Brewton. She was employed by D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She was an active member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jimetta Kendrick.
She is survived by a daughter, Mattie Jackson (Thomas) Stallworth; sons, Henry (Henrietta) Sanford, James (Minnie) Sanford, William (Ana) Sanford, and Charles (Billie) Sanford; granddaughters, Sherita Jackson, Jacqueline Sanford, LaToya (Kenan) Lawhorne, and Tracy Perez; grandsons, James G. Sanford, Byron Sanford, James M. (Shirley) Sanford, Eric (Marsha) Jackson, and Aaron (Kimberly) Sanford; great-granddaughters, Taylor Sanford, C’yara Bryant, Anya Archibald, Erica Jackson, and Myah Jackson; great-grandsons, Wynton, Spencer and John   Jackson, Cory Sanford, and Kenion Lawhorne, and a host of additional family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Presley-Fluker Funeral Home in Brewton, on Friday, Nov., 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Brewton, on Saturday, November 12,  at 2 p.m.
