Ms. Joette Knight, 46, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. She attended W.S. Neal High School and Jefferson Davis Community College. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elouise Woods; a brother, Charles K. Knight, Jr.; a sister, Mattie Crook and a nephew, Miker Crook.
She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Knight and Charles ‘Donell’ Ikner; her daughter, Charletha ‘Shonell’ Ikner, all of Brewton; her father, Charles ‘Bo’ Knight; her brothers, Anthony (Nicole) Woods, Herbert ‘D’ Woods, Marcus Woods, Little ‘Milton’ Knight, Charles Lett, and Ronnie Knight, all of Brewton; a sister, Genevelyn (Ottis) Crawford of Montgomey and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 23, at 2:30 p.m. at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mose Atwood and Pastor Ellis J. Davis officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
