Billy Glen Mayo

Mr. Billy Glen Mayo, 80 of Hwy. 41 Repton, died Tuesday Jan. 31, 2012 in a Mobile medical facility. He was a native of Alabama, a former resident of Gary, Ind., and a long time resident of Repto. He was a member of Range Freewill Baptist Church, former fire chief of Range Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the National Rifle Association, a member of Woodmen of the World, founder and president of BMG Cain Mill, a member of the Hoop and Holler Hunting Club, and a retired carpenter from the construction Industry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline English Mayo and a son, Jimmy Mayo.

He is survived by one son, Mitchell (Ann) Mayo of Lenox; two daughters, Debbie (Jack) Pennington of Valparaiso, Ind. and Beverly Hall of Range; five grandchildren, Wendy Folmar, Maranda Allen, Daniel Recktenwall, Shannon Sawyer and Brandon Sawyer; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral serviceswill be held Thursday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m.the  at Range Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Boatwright and the Rev. Clyde Bruley officiating. Burial will follow in Range Cemetery in the Range Community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
