Mr. Loyd “Eddie” Phillippi, Jr., 56, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 in Atmore. He was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of Atmore for the past 42 years. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Mason Phillippi of Atmore.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurl Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
