Anthony Wayne ‘Tony’ Pugh

Mr. Anthony Wayne “Tony” Pugh, 62, of Appleton Road, died Sunday, April 29, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Escambia County and a long-time resident of Castleberry. He was a truck driver and was of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Pugh.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Helen J. Pugh of Castleberry; his mother, Eula Mae Cain Pugh of Brewton; a son, Scotty (Stephanie) Pugh of Castleberry; a brother, Landon Pugh of Brewton; a sister, Jean (Jerry) Windham of Brewton; and a granddaughter, Jessica “Jessi” Pugh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ McDonald and the Rev. Nathaniel Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Glory Hill Cemetery in the Appleton community with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
