Mr. John Daniel “Johnny” Rowell, Sr. 68 of Brewton, died Monday June 4, 2012 after injuries sustained in a automobile accident. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. Mr. Rowell was of the Baptist faith and a hunting and fishing Guide.
He is survived by a son, John John Rowell of Brewton; a daughter, Chanda Rowell (Tony) Yelverton of Masison, Miss.; two step-daughters, Robin Griggers of Brewton, and Tisha Robbins of Houston, Texas; one step-son, Jason Griggers of Atlanta, Ga.; two step-grandsons, Cruz Reed and Walker Griggers Reed; two nephews- Keith (Kelly) Ball and Danny Holmes; nieces, Tammy Ward and Anita Weaver; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Doug Greer officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
