Thomas Jefferson ‘T.J.’ Ansley

Mr. Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Ansley, 83, of Fish Hook Road, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Grady County, Ga., and had been a resident of Brewton since 1976, coming from Cairo, Ga. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Navy, and was a farmer during his working years.
He is survived by four sons, Shelton (Deborah) Ansley and Chris Eugene (Sheryl) Ansley, both of Cairo, Ga., Thomas Glenn Ansley of Hinesville, Ga., and Doyle Lynn Ansley of Wallace; four brothers, Homer Ansley, J.D. Ansley, Wayne Ansley, Larry Ansley, all of Cairo, GA; three sisters, Margie Anderson and Betty Ponder, both of Cairo, Ga., and Buice Hudson of Florida; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, Ga. with Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and Craver’s Funeral Home directing locally.
