Virginia Laura Bozzano Ryals

Mrs. Virginia Laura Bozzano Ryals, 83, died Sunday, Oct. 2012 at a Mobile health care facility after an extended illness.
She was a native and former resident of Chicago, before moving to Castleberry 54 years ago. She was retired strap machine operator with Vanity Fair Mills with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of Oak Grove Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Ryals and a son, Larry Ryals.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy (Gail) Ryals of Castleberry; two daughters, Linda (Roy) Partin of Repton, and Debra (Junior) Pugh of Brewton; six sisters, Bicky Kaucher of Brookfield, Ill., Dodie Keppel and Dorothy Pack, both of Sun City, Ariz., Gean Joreg of Des Plains, Ill., Leora Gee of Harselle and Lois Mendell of Franklin Park, Ill, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home Inc.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. at the Oak Grove Holiness Church with the Rev. Justin Morse officiating. Burial will follow at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox, with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
