Matthew Marek Trimmier, 22, of Golden Oaks Circle in Granbury, Texas, passed away early Saturday morning at his residence.
He was a native of Granbury, Texas, and a former resident of Brewton, before moving back to Granbury, Texas.
He was of the Mormon faith, a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and was employed as a supervisor in the concrete works industry.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his father, David Trimmier; mother and step-father Lisa Trimmier (Louis) Bustos; two sisters, Cierra Trimmier (David) Wade and Tiffnye Trimmier, all of Granbury, Texas; two step-brothers, Lorenzo Bustos and Lazaro Bustos, both of Austin, Texas; one niece, Peyton May Strength of Granbury, Texas; grandmothers, Carolyn Redding of Granbury, Texas, and Margaret Nails of Brewton; uncles, Larry Fleming, Greg (Cindy) Fleming and Jim (Madilyn) Hildreth; adopted nana, Gloria Dyal; and step-grandparents, Luis (Lee) Bustos of Odessa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Henry and Helen Hildreth and grandfatherBill Trimmier.
Visitation will be held Sat., July 11, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sun., July 12, at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Grover Hall officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

CARY O. BUCKHAULT
Castleberry

Cary O. Buckhault, 80, of Cooper Cemetery Road in Castleberry, passed away early Monday morning, July 6, at a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of Wallace and a life-long resident of Castleberry.
He was of the Church of Christ faith and retired from the Escambia County road department.
He is survived by five sons, Donald (Kim) Buckhault of Evergreen, Gary (Michelle) Buckhault of Monroeville, Calvin (Tracy) Buckhault of Evergreen, Michael (Mandy) Buckhault of Brewton, and Andy Buckhault of Brewton; one daughter, Carol (Johnny) McDonald of Range; one brother, Henry Lambeth of Atmore; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from noon until 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services will follow at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton officiating.

MARY INEZ LETSON WATSON
Brewton

Mary Inez Letson Watson, 76, of Foshee Road in Brewton, passed away Tues., June 30, 2015, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.
She was a native of Huntsville and a former resident of Talladega, before moving to Brewton in 2008.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Milton, Fla., and a retired teacher and interpreter for deaf and blind students.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Beauford Watson of Brewton; one son, Alvin Chip (Christy) Watson of Farmington, Ark.; three daughters, Deborah (Eric) Snodgrass of Demopolis, Sherry Lynn (Greg) Douglas of Okeechobee, Fla., and Jessica Watson of Brewton; 11 grandchildren; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Joy Watson; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Fri., July 3, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton with Elder Gary Sunderland officiating.
Internment will be held at a later date and time in Old Beth Salem Cemetery in Boligee (Green County) with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton officiating.

PEARLINE BLAIR BUSBY
Brewton

Pearline Blair Busby, 76, of Jernigan Road in Brewton, passed away Wed., July 1, 2015, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.
She was a native and long time resident of Brewton, and a former resident of Texas, before moving back to Brewton 15 years ago.
She was of the Pentecostal faith, a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, John Mike Stone of Joplin, Mo., Kevin Stone of Edna, Texas, and Gregg Stone of Brewton; two daughters, Sheila George of Webster, Texas and Rachel Craven of Houston, Texas; one sister, RoJean Hammac of East Brewton; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Mary Moen Blair; and one son, James Mitchell Stone.
Funeral services were held Sat., July 4, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel in Brewton with the Rev. Steve Breceda officiating.
Interment followed in Cooper Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

ALVIN CURTIS SMITH
Castleberry

Alvin Curtis Smith, 75, passed away Fri., June 26, 2015, at his residence in Castleberry.
He was a lifelong resident of Conecuh County and had worked as an equipment operator at Container Corp. and as a farmer.
He served as president of the Panther Creek Hunting Club for more than 20 years, and was of the Holiness faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Leottie Smith; and a brother, Billy Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Ryals Smith of Castleberry; a daughter, Devon (Randy) Cardwell of Castleberry; a brother, James (Vivian) Smith of Brewton; four sisters, Evelyn Pettis of Castleberry, Margaret Bradley of Laurel Hill, Fla., Linda Brantley of Brewton, and Carolyn (Ronnie) Martin of Castleberry; and two grandchildren, Daniel Cardwell and Emily Cardwell.
Funeral services were held on Mon., June 29, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Bro. David Baggett and Bro. Donnis Bowman officiating.
Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Cardwell, Daniel Cardwell, Mickey Gray, Wesley Skipper, Fred Owens, and Joey Searcy.
The family asks that donations be made to the Oak Grove Holiness Cemetery Fund, 1824 Appleton Road, Castleberry, AL, 36432, in Mr. Smith’s name.

Willie Guy Gantt, 70, of Pine Street in Brewton, passed away Mon., June 22, 2015, in a local nursing facility after a brief illness.
He was a native of Covington County and a long time resident of Brewton. He was retired from T.R. Miller Mill Company.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Nell Gantt of Evergreen; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Wilson Gantt; and his brother, Satisfield Gantt.

CLIFFORD JOHNSON

Clifford Johnson, 85, of the Boykin community passed away June 25, 2015.
Johnson was born April 8, 1930, to the late Ethel Jean and Albert Johnson.
He was a faithful member of the Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
He resided in the Boykin community for more than 50 years.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Murphy and Willa Dees; and one brother, James Edward Dees.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Rosie Lee Johnson of Brewton; one son, Willie Marvin (Tiffany) Fantroy of Andalusia; one daughter, Mary Joyce of Brewton; four grandchildren; several devoted caregivers; five sisters, Lillie B. Baker of Georgia, Lorriane Fantroy, Katherine Shoma, Queen Anne Dees and Ethel Lou Dees; one brother, Bobbie Earl, all of Pensacola, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wed., July 1, at 2 p.m. at Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Brewton, with the Rev. Thomas W. Broughton, officiating.

SADIE EDNA MORGAN BLAIR

Sadie Edna Morgan Blair, 85, of Cooper Cemetery Road in Brewton, passed away Mon., July 6, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Blair (Bill) Palmer of Brewton; one granddaughter, Jessica (John) Bordayo of Brewton; and one great-grandson, Bryant Bordayo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill J. Blair; son, Royce Blair; parents, Sherman and Hattie Morgan; sisters, Hallie, Laura, Sarah, and Ruby; brothers, Willis, Wilbert and Wilton; two infant sisters; and one infant brother.
Visitation will be held Thurs., July 9, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton.
