Mr. Michael Philip Dwyer, age 70, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Mr. Dwyer was born in Long Island, NY and had been a resident of Alexandria, LA for the past fifteen years.  He was a graduate of Mineola High School, and worked as a courier at Winthorp Hospital in New York for a number of years.  Mr. Dwyer was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Patrick Dwyer and Kathleen Clarke Dwyer; a brother, James Dwyer; two nephews, Marc Dwyer and Shane Bodiford.  He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by one brother, John (Pat) Dwyer of Flomaton, AL; two nephews, Sean Dwyer of San Jose, CA, and Scotty (Evelyn) Bodiford of Brewton, AL.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Chapman Cemetery with J. Heath Wilson officiating.
