Mrs. Jeanette Hart,84, of Smith Road, Castleberry, Ala. passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Oxford, England before moving to Brewton, Ala. Mrs. Hart was a member of the Appleton Assembly of God Church, a graduate of Sandhill High School in Oxford, England where she ran track and played field hockey and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Survivors include her two sons, Larry (Trace) Hart of Montgomery, Ala.,Craig (Leilani) Hart of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Patricia Byars of Brewton; two brothers, John Wiggins of England and Leonard Wiggins of England; four sisters, Joan Taylor of England, Betty Henwood of England, Pamela Shepherd of England, Diane Becket of England; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Hart; brother, Terrance Wiggins; sister, Anne Large.
Visitation was held Tuesday night, Dec. 11 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Appleton Assembly of God Church in Brewton.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Appleton Assembly of God Church with Rev. Russ McDonald and Rev. Steve Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in Weaver Cemetery Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home officiating.
