Mr. Everette Joseph “Joe” Brown, 86, of Roby Street East Brewton, Alabama passed away Saturday morning July 13, 2019 in a Pensacola, Florida Hospice facility after a brief illness. 

He was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Alabama. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist Faith, A U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired storeroom clerk from Jefferson Smurfit with 36 years of service.

He is survived by his son, Everette (Wanda) Brown of Brewton; daughter,  Ruby Jo Greenhow of Phenix City; step-daughter, Lisa Williamson of Hoover; seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jean Dixon Brown; brothers, Alfred, Burl, Charlie, Mickey and Billy.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Williamson officiating. 

Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
