One of the Lord’s angels has completed her work here on earth and was called home to dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Jane Mancil Dixon passed away on October 22, 2019, in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones after an extended illness.

She was born February 23, 1945 in Andalusia, AL, to Luther and Dorothy James Mancil, who predeceased her. At a young age, she and her family moved to Brewton where she resided until her death. She worked at Judy Bond for 30 years as a seamstress and quality controller. After the plant closed in 1994, she provided quality control services to many companies including JCPenny and Med-Line until her retirement in 2005.

Jane’s passions were God and family whom she served faithfully until her death. Because of her unending, unconditional love and support for her family, they are greatly saddened and will miss her terribly. However, because of her belief in and love for the Lord, they rejoice because she will live eternally with Him free from suffering and tears.

She was a member of the East Brewton Baptist Church and enjoyed a special fellowship with her Sunday School class sisters. This relationship continued even after she was no longer able to attend. The family will be eternally grateful for their love and prayers.
