Mr. Robert Earl Madden, 76, passed away Thur., Dec. 19, 2019, at his Brewton residence.

Mr. Madden was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, Ala.  He worked as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in the oil industry.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing; was a devoted husband and father, and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mr. Madden was a member of Appleton Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Madden and Pearl Morris Madden; three brothers, Jimmy Floyd Madden, Melvin Madden, and Johnny Madden; two sisters, Maxine Smith, and Annie Pearl Burkett.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Madden of Brewton; one son, Mark (Julie) Madden of Brewton; two daughters, Pam Hart of Brewton, and Kelley (Jason) Lambeth of Brewton; three brothers, Buford Madden, Elton Madden, and Shorty Madden, all of Brewton; two sisters, Carolyn Cooper, and Judy Reid, both of Brewton; four grandchildren, Adam Hart, Amy Godwin, Jordyn Marino, and Dawson Lambeth; two great-grandchildren, McKinley Godwin, and Murphy Godwin.

A time of visitation was held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Sat., Dec. 21, 2019, from 6PM  until 8PM.

Funeral Services scheduled for Sun., Dec. 22, 2019, at 1:30 P.M. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Rev. Russ McDonald officiating.

Interment followed in Holland Cemetery under the direction of Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton.

Pallbearers were Jason Windham, Jason Madden, Damon Godwin, Tommy Thompson, Dawson Lambeth, and Alex Marino. Honorary Pallbearer:  Jerry Windham.
